It isn't always easy to find somewhere that welcomes big groups of people and so we recommend that you get in touch in advance.
We have listed those who have welcomed some of our groups in the past and those who we count as 'partners' who are willing to offer special menus or deals have their own section and a brief description.
Please remember though that any group should always contact a restaurant in advance to ensure that they are able to look after you properly on the night!
All groceries may also be purchased from Tescos in Aviemore, 11 miles away. However, it must be noted that it is possible that they may have run out of basic items. There are 3 superstores in Inverness. The best thing is to order your groceries online and they can be delivered to you when you arrive.
You can view a page How to order if you wish.
I have to warn you that the Station is not on the Tesco address list, just make sure that you get the directions right!
If you wish, we can so that you can help yourselves to cereal & toast for breakfast; a piece of fruit & the basics for a sandwich at lunch and we'll cook you a two course evening meal geared to the weather, group type and activities partaken. You wash-up! This is aimed at keeping the cost down for organisers so that crisps, drinks, chocolates etc., should be purchased by individuals according to their own taste.
We can offer a weekend plan which provides for 2 days of cereal, toast, fruit and sandwiches and one evening meal. This allows groups to eat on their way to us, meaning there is no worry about travel time and hold-ups!
I need to know at least one week in advance how many of the party are vegetarians. Unfortunately for the price we are not able to deal with that other allergies and special diets, but if I am told in advance, I will do my best to take them into account. A microwave is available for those who need to provide for their own particular needs.
You do your own washing up in the scullery, but only your crockery and cutlery. We wash all the pots and pans. You are responsible for cleanliness as usual.
For groups in the Station we cook at home and bring it down at a pre-arranged time. For groups at the House we will have sole access to the kitchen and have provided a fridge for your use in the dining room.
If you are self-catering then you can organise a Tesco order to be delivered to you.
