Exclusive use ONLY Nethy Station is a modern conversion of the old railway station that used to serve Nethy Bridge until 1963. The Speyside Way now runs along the site of the disused track.
Since then it has been used as accommodation for visiting scouts; students; beaters who come in to work during the grouse season and many other groups who have just wanted basic accommodation.
It has been laid out to cater for budget groups and has proved very popular with many visitors who return again and again. Using the same principle as Abernethy Bunkhouses - Nethy House, it has triple bunks allowing greater flexibility for either filling the house to make it even cheaper per head, or perhaps for the storage of luggage etc. The old waiting room is lined on one wall with lovely high windows which one group called it the 'conservatory'!
Recent upgrades have meant that two new rooms have been added, though, please note that they have external access only! There is now an extra two-bed bunk room and another room with a high alpine bunk for 2. This room has been set up for those who may wish to have a little privacy for working. It is possible to go through tiny doors from other rooms - so, we call it 'Narnia'!
A new addition is a heated and insulated Shed that we acquired from a neighbour. It contains a bunkbed for 2!
All bed spaces have a lockable locker for storage, except in the Shed!

The kitchen is well equipped with cutlery, crockery and pans geared to group cooking. There is a fridge/freezer, microwave and a automatic water heater.

Even in winter our location on a good road allows for easy access to both ski areas nearby
Outside we have a barrel-style barbecue.
The football pitch is only about 100 yards over the bridge
